How to Make a Cold Brew Coffee at Home

A refreshing way to cool down

Here's how to make a cold brew using our favourite Kegwa AA from Murmuration Coffee (available to purchase in store).

Ingredients:

  • 1 part coffee for 4 parts water

  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Grind the coffee beans to a coarse consistency.

  2. Combine the ground coffee and cold water in a large container or pitcher.

  3. Stir the mixture until the coffee grounds are fully saturated with water.

  4. Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap and let it steep at room temperature for at least 16 hours, or overnight.

  5. After 16 hours, remove the lid and strain the coffee through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container.

  6. Fill a glass with ice and pour the cold brew coffee over it.

  7. If desired, add your preferred sweetener and creamer to taste.

  8. Serve and enjoy!

Cold brew coffee is perfect for hot summer days and provides a smoother and sweeter taste compared to hot brewed coffee. And the Murmuration Coffee, Kegwa AA coffee fruitiness is especially delicious when paired a gorgeous sunny day,(we know, we’ve tested it!).
